ENTERTAINMENT DROPPINGS: The Pope, Bobby Brown, Madonna, Billy Bush vs. Michael Jackson

• The Vatican releases yet another biopic of John Paul II, this one co-starring Eddie Murphy as a donkey and Robin Williams as a genie, stealing our hearts while they "crack wise" as second bananas to the more sombrely heroic Karol Józef Wojtyła [BBC News]

• Bobby Brown's still got the skills to pay the bills [TMZ]

• Madonna one step closer to saving the world -- one spoiled brat at a time [People]

• Billy Bush and Michael Jackson enter the same room; asshole-induced matter/anti-matter explosion occurs when they accidentally touch [Access Hollywood]

Oh my eyes, my precious eyes...forever seared with the RGB image of Billy Bush's blog...

Wait, is that really a blog?

No, Virginia, there is no Billy Bush blog. Well, maybe it is and maybe it isn't. I mean, it's a blog in the sense that there are stories on a "web site" that are "written" by Billy Bush. But in the sense that it's a DIY, push-button-published daily log of Billy Bush's life, I'm afraid to say no, it's not.

It's probably more like Billy Bush walks out of the crapper (after doing some blow), walks over to the most attractive intern he can find and says "I wanna write some shit" and then dictates a bunch of garbled nonsense that she then has to copy edit and post as a regular Access Hollywood news story but with the words "BILLY'S BLOG" in front of the headline.

Sorry about the confusion.
